If the value changes between sem_wait's read and the gsync_wait call, the kernel will return KERN_INVALID_ARGUMENT, which we have to interpret as the value having already changed. This fixes applications (e.g. libgo) seeing sem_wait erroneously return KERN_INVALID_ARGUMENT.

900778283ac3 ("htl: make pthread_spin_lock really spin") made pthread_spin_lock really spin and not block, but the current users of __pthread_spin_lock were assuming that it blocks, i.e. they use it as a lightweight mutex fitting in just one int. __pthread_spin_wait provides that support back.

The valid_nanoseconds () static inline function has been introduced to check if nanoseconds value is in the correct range - greater or equal to zero and less than 1000000000.
