2018-11-05clang-tidy: fix vpx_img_wrap alignJohann
This function specifically only aligns the stride and not the base buffer like vpx_img_alloc does. BUG=webm:1444 Change-Id: I3092827eeec3c9e16306a3973534d3a362a337e8

2018-04-09vpx_image: remove unused image formatsJames Zern
libvpx only emits: VPX_IMG_FMT_{I420,I422,I440,I444,I42016,I42216,I44016,I44416} and additionally supports YV12 as input. interleaved yuv, rgb and alpha formats are unused. Change-Id: Ie2ab1099e950c6e696f475d46882f5c47a174042

2015-09-25vp9/10: improve support for render_width/height.Ronald S. Bultje
In the decoder, map this to the output variable vpx_image_t.r_w/h. This is intended as an improved version of VP9D_GET_DISPLAY_SIZE, which doesn't work with parallel frame decoding. In the encoder, map this to a codec control func (VP9E_SET_RENDER_SIZE) that takes a w/h pair argument in a int[2] (identical to VP9D_GET_DISPLAY_SIZE). Also add render_size to the encoder_param_get_to_decoder unit test. See issue 1030. Change-Id: I12124c13602d832bf4c44090db08c1009c94c7e8
2015-09-16Add support for color-range.Ronald S. Bultje
In decoder, export (eventually) into vpx_image_t.range field. In encoder, use oxcf->color_range to set it (same way as for color_space). See issue 1059. Change-Id: Ieabbb2a785fa58cc4044bd54eee66f328f3906ce

2015-01-13Enable decoder to pass through color space infoYaowu Xu
This commit added a field to vpx_image_t for indicating color space, the field is also added to YUV_BUFFER_CONFIG. This allows the color space information pass through the decoder from input stream to the output buffer. The commit also updated compare_img() function with added verification of matching color space to ensure the color space information to be correctly passed from encode to decoder in compressed vp9 streams. 2014-09-02Adds config opt for highbitdepth + misc. vpxDeb Mukherjee
Adds config parameter vp9_highbitdepth, to support highbitdepth profiles. Also includes most vpx level high bit-depth functions. However encode/decode in the highbitdepth profiles will not work until the rest of the code is in place. Change-Id: I34c53b253c38873611057a6cbc89a1361b8985a6
2014-07-05Adds support for reading and writing 10/12-bit y4mDeb Mukherjee
The y4m extension used is the same as the one used in ffmpeg/x264. The patch is adapted from the highbitdepth branch. Also adds unit tests for y4m header parsing and md5 check of the raw frame data, as well as y4m writing. 2014-02-13Add VP9 decoder support for external frame buffersFrank Galligan
Added support for external frame buffers to libvpx's VP9 decoder. If the external frame buffer functions are set then libvpx will call the get function whenever it needs a new frame buffer to decode a frame into. And it will call the release function whenever there are no more references to that buffer. Change-Id: Id2934d005f606af6e052fb6db0d5b7c02f567522

2013-05-06Y4M input support for 4:2:2, 4:4:4, 4:4:4:4John Koleszar
Adds a new experiment CONFIG_NON420 that allows other chroma subsamplings to be passed to the codec. This commit allows the data to be passed from a y4m input file through vpxenc to the codec, where they're currently rejected. Later commits will finish support for this inside the codec. 2010-10-27Eliminate more warnings.Timothy B. Terriberry
This eliminates a large set of warnings exposed by the Mozilla build system (Use of C++ comments in ISO C90 source, commas at the end of enum lists, a couple incomplete initializers, and signed/unsigned comparisons). It also eliminates many (but not all) of the warnings expose by newer GCC versions and _FORTIFY_SOURCE (e.g., calling fread and fwrite without checking the return values). There are a few spurious warnings left on my system: ../vp8/encoder/encodemb.c:274:9: warning: 'sz' may be used uninitialized in this function gcc seems to be unable to figure out that the value shortcut doesn't change between the two if blocks that test it here. ../vp8/encoder/onyx_if.c:5314:5: warning: comparison of unsigned expression >= 0 is always true ../vp8/encoder/onyx_if.c:5319:5: warning: comparison of unsigned expression >= 0 is always true This is true, so far as it goes, but it's comparing against an enum, and the C standard does not mandate that enums be unsigned, so the checks can't be removed. 2010-05-24install includes in DIST_DIR/include/vpx, move vpx_codec/ to vpx/John Koleszar
This renames the vpx_codec/ directory to vpx/, to allow applications to more consistently reference these includes with the vpx/ prefix. This allows the includes to be installed in /usr/local/include/vpx rather than polluting the system includes directory with an excessive number of includes.
