2019-11-21Don't use a custom wrapper macro around __has_include (bug 25189).Emilio Cobos Álvarez
This causes issues when using clang with -frewrite-includes to e.g., submit the translation unit to a distributed compiler. In my case, I was building Firefox using sccache. See [1] for a reduced test-case since I initially thought this was a clang bug, and [2] for more context. Apparently doing this is invalid C++ per [cpp.cond], which mentions [3]: > The #ifdef and #ifndef directives, and the defined conditional > inclusion operator, shall treat __has_include and __has_cpp_attribute > as if they were the names of defined macros. The identifiers > __has_include and __has_cpp_attribute shall not appear in any context > not mentioned in this subclause. Also, change sources.redhat.com to sourceware.org. This patch was automatically generated by running the following shell script, which uses GNU sed, and which avoids modifying files imported from upstream: sed -ri ' s,(http|ftp)(://(.*\.)?(gnu|fsf|sourceware)\.org($|[^.]|\.[^a-z])),https\2,g s,(http|ftp)(://(.*\.)?)sources\.redhat\.com($|[^.]|\.[^a-z]),https\2sourceware.org\4,g ' \ $(find $(git ls-files) -prune -type f \ ! -name '*.po' \ ! -name 'ChangeLog*' \ ! -path COPYING ! -path COPYING.LIB \ ! -path manual/fdl-1.3.texi ! -path manual/lgpl-2.1.texi \ ! -path manual/texinfo.tex ! -path scripts/config.guess \ ! -path scripts/config.sub ! -path scripts/install-sh \ ! -path scripts/mkinstalldirs ! -path scripts/move-if-change \ ! -path INSTALL ! -path locale/programs/charmap-kw.h \ ! -path po/libc.pot ! -path sysdeps/gnu/errlist.c \ ! 2019-06-14Linux: Fix __glibc_has_include use for <sys/stat.h> and statxFlorian Weimer
The identifier linux is used as a predefined macro, so the actually used path is 1/stat.h or 1/stat64.h. Using the quote-based version triggers a file lookup for /usr/include/bits/linux/stat.h (or whatever directory is used to store bits/statx.h), but since bits/ is pretty much reserved by glibc, this appears to be acceptable. This is related to GCC PR 80005: incorrect macro expansion of the argument of __has_include. Suggested by Zack Weinberg. Reviewed-by: Carlos O'Donell <carlos@redhat.com>
2019-06-12<sys/stat.h>: Use Linux UAPI header for statx if available and usefulFlorian Weimer
This will automatically import new STATX_* constants. It also avoids a conflict between <sys/stat.h> and <linux/stat.h>.
