I used these shell commands:
../glibc/scripts/update-copyrights $PWD/../gnulib/build-aux/update-copyright
(cd ../glibc && git commit -am"[this commit message]")
and then ignored the output, which consisted lines saying "FOO: warning:
copyright statement not found" for each of 7061 files FOO.
I then removed trailing white space from math/tgmath.h,
support/tst-support-open-dev-null-range.c, and
sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/strlen-vec.S, to work around the following
obscure pre-commit check failure diagnostics from Savannah. I don't
know why I run into these diagnostics whereas others evidently do not.

With upcoming BZ#12683 fix, syscall cancellation is not more handled
by {libc,pthread,librt}_{enable,disable}_asynccancel symbols. This renders
both LIBC_CANCEL_HANDLED and empty declaration and tst-cancel-wrappers.sh
unrequired. This patch removes both the macro and the nptl test.
Checked on x86_64-linux-gnu.

This patch simplify sigpause by remobing the single thread optimization
since it will be handled already by the __sigsuspend call.
Checked on x86_64-linux-gnu.

optimization. Add LIBC_CANCEL_HANDLED for cancellation marking.

* configure.in: Substitute libc_cv_slibdir and libc_cv_sysconfdir
in output files.
* sysdepes/unix/sysv/linux/configure: Define libc_cv_slibdir to /lib
and sysconfdir to /etc if $prefix is /usr.
* config.make.in: Add slibdir, sysconfdir and BASH to be replaced.
* elf/Makefile ($(objpfx)ldd): Install ldd.bash.in if
$(have-bash2) is yes.

Implement RTLD_NEXT.
