I used these shell commands: ../glibc/scripts/update-copyrights $PWD/../gnulib/build-aux/update-copyright (cd ../glibc && git commit -am"[this commit message]") and then ignored the output, which consisted lines saying "FOO: warning: copyright statement not found" for each of 7061 files FOO. I then removed trailing white space from math/tgmath.h, support/tst-support-open-dev-null-range.c, and sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/strlen-vec.S, to work around the following obscure pre-commit check failure diagnostics from Savannah. We do not actually need them, so we can move their implementations into the standard {,f,l}stat{,at} variants and only keep compatibility wrappers.

It also decouple mknod{at} from xmknod{at}. The riscv32 ABI was added on 2.33, so it is safe to remove the old __xmknot{at} symbols and just provide the newer mknod{at} ones. Checked with a build for all affected ABIs. I also checked on x86_64, i686, powerpc, powerpc64le, sparcv9, sparc64, s390, and s390x. Reviewed-by: Lukasz Majewski <lukma@denx.de>
